Hi, I’m Shiva—mother, adventurer, board‑game lover, and proud over‑thinker.
By day, I’m a wrangler of all things: people, projects, inboxes, and the tiny details that make big things actually happen. I love connecting folks who should know each other and making sure what’s important on paper also works in real life. When I’m not wrangling, you can usually find me crafting a game night, dreaming about the Renaissance Faire, or planning our next family adventure.
My heart aches at being so far from family in North Carolina and California, but I’m deeply grateful to be building a life in France and (slowly!) working toward French citizenship. I have a full‑on love–hate relationship with the French language: some days I’m high‑fiving myself for surviving bureaucracy in French, and other days I’m defeated by a grocery‑store interaction and a verb tense (do I really need to learn the subjunctive?).
I write about our little life here at josephineinparis.blog and use this space to collect the stories and projects that don’t fit anywhere else.
